Fantastic $30 Cartography Humble Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop Game Master's Fantasy

After a short availability back in April, the Map Making Mega Bundle has returned with an encore available until Dec. 2. Described as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" developed by ProFantasy Software throughout their history, the entire collection is valued at more than thirteen hundred dollars. The Main Attraction

The standout feature is definitely a lifetime license to the CC3+ software, a professional-grade cartography program which enables users to generate various types including fantasy overworld maps, detailed regional charts, city maps, and, perhaps most importantly, tactical combat environments.

Bundle Tiers

Basic Package

The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four of the 39 total items: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Monster Token Pack 1, Castle Source Maps, Urban Source Maps. This package suits existing CC3+ users, yet it provides new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, more than two dozen top-down castle layouts including hundreds of map markers, eight complete urban centers, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Intermediate Package

The eight-product collection starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting by adding in permanent CC3+ access, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. Cartographer's Annual is the yearly bundle from the company's long-running monthly subscription service which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements including map packs and various other tools. The Isometric Cities enables present urban areas in 3D perspective using angled views from all sides. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping is a 760-page suitable for novices and experts, full of tips and tutorials covering cartography techniques.

Every volume from the Annual series are included here, plus numerous additional tools and content enabling creators to design entire planets or galaxies, or just go all-in on traditional fantasy world-building: battle maps, underground complexes, cities, and land masses in multiple viewpoints. Users can also create character portraits. For $30 as opposed to $15, the full bundle is so worth it, particularly for mappers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly an even better deal for cartography beginners since it includes introductory guides to facilitate learning. The one caveat here is that while the purchase is available on any platform, the software is only usable on Windows.
